Please install the software you need to play sound, movies, and to interact with music scores in your online course. If you need help downloading the software, visit the Downloads page and download the application installers for RealPlayer, QuickTime, Shockwave, and the Scorch Plugin.

When you download an application installer, an icon is created in the location that you specify. In other words, remember where you are putting the application installer that you are downloading. That location can be the desktop, or inside a specific folder. The choice is yours.

Just remember that downloading an installer doesn't mean that the application is ready to be used. The installer is not the application itself. For the application to become fully operational, you need to run the installer.

Once you have downloaded the application installer, and know its location on your computer, installation of the application is a simple three-step process:

1. Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
2. Double-click the installer icon of the application you want to install.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
